Hello to all from Breabach HQ!

We are in the midst of our Ùrlar album tour and are having a brilliant time so far. Only a few more dates to go on this leg and we hope you can make it along if we are in you’re area. A big thanks to everyone that has helped us out with sound & lights, sold our merch, fed & watered us and all of you that have come along to support the gigs! We are still looking for a couple of merchandise sellers for Peebles and Colchester, send us an email if you would like to help us out in exchange for a few goodies.

Unfortunately our gig in Falmouth which was supposed to occur on 26/11/13 has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Princess Pavillion will be issuing refunds to those who had bought tickets.

More awardy things… Radio 2 Folk Awards

On this weeks Radio 2 Folk Show with Mark Radcliffe, the nominees for the 2o14 Radio 2 Folk Awards were announced. We are honoured to be up for best group alongside LAU, Melrose Quartet and The Full English. Congratulations to everyone that has received a nomination, we can’t wait to join you all at the shindig in February!

This Hogmanay we are going to be celebrating in the sun at the Woodford Folk Festival (near Brisbane, Australia). It’s such an exciting opportunity and we are looking forward to getting a good dose of craic with our pals the Peatbog Faeries and Rachel Sermanni who will also be there. We would love to hear from you if you will be there for the party too!

Edinburgh St. Andrews Night

On the 30th of November we will be having a rare old time in Edinburgh at the Grassmarket as we take part in a big FREE day of music. We will be performing alongside Blazin’ Fiddles, Dougie Maclean, Louis Abbot (Admiral Fallow), Cask Strength Ceilidh Band, Adam Sutherland, Rura and more! It’s going to be quite a day.
